Ready to Wear Collections: items available from the online store can be purchased in person at my studio or via the Online Store.

If you would like your hat or headpiece sent to you, please complete the online store order form including the delivery details etc. Post and packing costs of orders retailing over £100 are included in the retail price for UK deliveries, only.

As the items in the Online Store are “in stock”, as soon as goods have been despatched, normally 2 – 4 working days from the date of purchase, I will send an email to the delivery contact address you have supplied. The confirmation email will include the name of the carrier, despatch service, and the parcel or tracking number details, as appropriate. Note that the time needed for Royal Mail/courier delivery service will be in addition to the despatch period of 2-4 days, mentioned above.

Bespoke couture items – local clients normally prefer to collect their hat or headpiece when making their final balance payment, however, if you would like your hat or headpiece delivered, please do not hesitate to ask for more details. Post and packing costs of orders retailing over £100 are included in the retail price for UK deliveries, only.

As soon as your bespoke order has been despatched, normally 2 – 4 working days from the date of purchase, I will send an email to the delivery contact address you have supplied. Hat hire service – local clients normally prefer to collect their hat or headpiece in person, however, if you are unable to collect your chosen piece we can also arrange for it be sent to you, at an additional cost of £10. (Please remember however that if you arrange for your headpiece to be sent by post you need to allow additional time for it to arrive for your event).

At the end of the hire period, that is by or on the 7th and final day, the hat should be returned either in person or via a recorded delivery service, the postage cost of the return of the headpiece will be at your expense. When returning the hat or headpiece please pack it up securely in its original packaging, and send it back via a recorded delivery service, on or before Day 7 of the hire period. If you are returning your hat hire by post please send the proof of despatch of its return to info@margaretwoodliffwright.co.uk, so we can track the return of the parcel. (On receipt of your headpiece, once it has been examined and its condition confirmed as satisfactory, the security deposit will be returned)

All orders – with a value over £100 will require a signature on delivery.

Postal and carrier delays — I will provide you with the relevant parcel or tracking number to enable you to track the progress of your parcel once it has left me. However, I regret that once the order has left my premises and is with Royal Mail/the courier delivery service, I cannot be held responsible for its whereabouts. or its delivery progress.

Unforeseen delays – despatch/shipping times may be longer than usually expected, this may be due to unforeseen national or worldwide restrictions caused by countrywide or international events. Under these circumstances I cannot be held responsible for your parcel’s whereabouts. or its delivery progress.

Frustrated deliveries – If you purchase an item that is sent to you and subsequently returned to me due to a frustrated or non-delivery/collection, you will be liable for any carriage charges incurred. Should you then request the item to be redelivered to you, as the original carriage charges are non-refundable, the original carriage charges will be levied once more. The status of the item itself is subject to the clauses in the Returns Policy detailed here.

Deliveries outside the UK – please do get in touch via the Contact Us page below, if you require a shipment outside the UK so I can advise further and obtain a quotation for you. Delivery of goods outside the UK, including Northern Ireland, is unfortunately now a complex issue.

Import duties apply to all deliveries made outside the UK – including those to Northern Ireland. Your parcel will include an itemised invoice with a customs declaration. The buyer/recipient is responsible for the payment of all carriage charges in advance, as well as any duties or local taxes on receipt of the order.
