Hat Hire

With a business mantra of sustainability, I am pleased to offer a small collection of popular easy-to-wear millinery styles for hire. This environmentally friendly service is especially useful for days out at the races and weddings. Hats may be hired for a week’s rental and unless otherwise arranged the hire period is for an inclusive period of 7 days.

The hat hire fee of £99 per hat or headpiece includes a one-hour in-person consultation or Zoom appointment. During the appointment, I will help you select a hat or headpiece of your choice and will also give you guidance on how to style your hat.

How It Works

When browsing through the styles featured in the Ready-to-Wear Online store, you will find the designs that are available within the Hat Hire collection noted in the “Essentials” tab on the individual listings in the Store.

To make an appointment to select your Hat Hire headpiece please complete the Enquiry Form below to arrange to come to the Studio to look through the selection. Alternatively, if you are interested in a hat or headpiece with a universal fitting, the consultation can be arranged via Zoom. When attending the in-person appointment, please remember to bring your entire outfit to the consultation so you can judge the overall finished look. The one-hour appointment will also include headwear styling advice. A rental agreement will be issued during the appointment with the terms and conditions of your hat hire arrangements including details of the security deposit,  the rental term and the return arrangements.

Once the availability of your chosen style has been confirmed there are three options for collection – you can either pre-book your design, reserving it in advance and arrange to collect it in person the day before it is required; alternatively, you can start your 7 day Hat Hire period there and then by taking your chosen headpiece with you at the end of your appointment, or there is an option to have your piece posted to you. If you choose to have your hat posted to you, this is a chargeable option (+£10) and please remember you will need to anticipate the time required for it to arrive, before your event. As the Ready to Wear and Hat Hire collections are updated regularly, or if you are interested in a particular style that you have seen on the website and would like to know if it is available to hire, please use the Enquiry Form to do so, remembering to include the date of your event in the message box.
